(F)ace your day
This was a competitive pitch created for the 2024 session of Boundaryless. We had to create a campaign for acne patches to target Gen Z. Our amateur agency, Counterpoint, took fourth place out of five.. I know.
Our idea centered around confidence; how it’s shaken when you breakout and how it’s restored with a zit patch.
Extra points were awarded for my strategic insight that people who sweat more have more acne, so we targeted active, fit, sporty audiences primarily.
Confidence is a powerful force that defines who you are. It's the feeling you get after you smash your big client presentation, when you nail your final exam, or when you kill an interview. You confront so many challenges in your day, and you approach them head on. It makes you feel invincible, and while you can only hope that unstoppable feeling never ends, sometimes life throws you little challenges that can dim your glow. We believe that true confidence radiates from within, but what happens when something is dulling your shine from the outside?
While a stubborn breakout may try to rain on your parade, Nexcare Acne Patches can restore that confidence so that you don’t just face your day, but you ace everything that's thrown your way.

Point of Purchase
One of the main weaknesses we found within the acne patch category was aisle placement. Nexcare Acne Patches are placed near other 3M products, near bandages instead of skincare. To solve this issue, we created aisle caps to highlight Nexcare’s product in stores.
